nativelo wants nativelo.com to be usable by as many people as possible, including visitors who rely on assistive technology. This statement describes the measures taken, the limitations we are aware of and how to reach us.
1. Our commitment
We regard accessible pages as ordinary maintenance work at nativelo rather than an additional feature. Every new page and every change to the design is checked to make sure the text remains readable, the navigation remains usable without a mouse and no information is carried by colour alone. The statement applies to nativelo.com only.
2. What we do
The site is built from semantic HTML with a logical heading structure, one main heading per page and descriptive link texts. The main content and the navigation are marked as separate regions, and every page declares its language for screen readers. Informative images have text alternatives, decorative ones are marked as such.
Body text, links and buttons reach a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1. Because sizes are relative, zooming in or increasing the font size in the browser does not break the layout, and every part of the site can be operated with a keyboard.
3. Standards
Our goal is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. We describe the site as partially conformant, because a few elements still fall short of individual criteria; pages are reviewed regularly and problems are fixed as they are found.
4. Limitations we know of
Some pictures are general illustrations with a short alternative text rather than a full description.
5. Information in another form
The website is not the only way to get information from nativelo. You can call us on 01603 584271 during business hours, write to hello@nativelo.com or send a letter to 14 Pottergate Yard, Norwich NR2 1DX; if a page does not work for you, we can read its content to you by telephone or send it as plain text.
6. Reporting a barrier
If you encounter a barrier on this website, or cannot obtain information that you require, please inform us by email at hello@nativelo.com or by telephone on 01603 584271. It helps if you identify the page, describe what happened and mention the browser or assistive technology you were using. We aim to respond within five working days.
7. Preparation and review
The present statement is dated 21 October 2026 and rests on a self-assessment carried out by nativelo, not on an external audit. We examined the navigation, the contact form and the main page types ourselves, using a keyboard, browser zoom and a screen reader. We review the text once a year and whenever the website is rebuilt.
