nativelo operates nativelo.com. This page sets out which entries the site places on your device, why they are used, what happens when a cookie notice is accepted or rejected, and how an answer can be withdrawn.
1. About cookies and browser storage
A cookie is a short text file that the site you are visiting places in your browser; it lets the site remember a setting or a decision you have made. Browsers provide similar mechanisms, in particular local storage, which keeps small entries until they are removed. This policy treats them in the same way.
2. How your choice is recorded
Where this website shows a cookie notice, it appears on the first visit with one button to accept and one to decline. Your answer is then kept as a single value in the local storage of that browser (localStorage), and the notice sets no cookie of its own. In another browser, on another device or where storage is blocked, it is shown again.
3. Which cookies this website uses
Only a few entries are needed to run this website, which presents information and contact details rather than an account area or an online shop. Strictly necessary entries keep the pages usable and secure and include any value that remembers a decision about a cookie notice; for them no consent is required under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
One of these entries is a cookie set by the server that delivers the pages. It holds a random identifier, no name or contact details, and lets the server recognise a browser that comes back, so that one visit is handled as one and automated misuse can be turned away. It is renewed with each visit and expires 30 days after the last one.
4. Advertising, tracking and personal data
This website carries no advertising or retargeting cookies and no cross-site tracking of any kind, and we do not create visitor profiles. Entries that can be linked to a person are personal data: the privacy policy of nativelo sets out the purposes, the legal grounds, the retention and your rights.
5. Withdrawing your consent and deleting cookies
You can withdraw an earlier consent at any time, just as easily as you gave it: delete the data this website has stored in your browser and open a page again, and the saved answer is gone. Every common browser also has settings for cookies and site data, where stored entries can be viewed and removed.
6. Content embedded from other providers
No external content with cookies of its own is integrated at present. Should an embedded map or video be used in future, its provider may store information on your device as soon as the content is displayed, and this page would be amended before such an element is published.
7. Storage periods
Some entries exist only while the browser window is open; others are given a defined lifetime so that a preference survives until the next visit. An answer recorded by a cookie notice is not set to expire and remains until you delete it or your browser clears it.
8. Updates to this policy and questions
Whenever the technology behind nativelo.com changes or new rules require it, this policy is updated, and the current version, with the date of its last revision, is always the one published here. If something is unclear, write to hello@nativelo.com or call 01603 584271.
